Earth Day Food and Wine Festival was once again successful and were so thrilled to host the main event. The vineyards are in tip-top shape as Spring rolls in. Last year at this time we had just experienced one of the worst Spring frost events that our region had ever experienced.So far this year we have not experienced the same cold temperatures. Everyday that we get closer to Summer the threat of frost decreases. All varities at Pomar Junction have exprienced "budbreak" as dormancy has now past. The Viongier blocks look perfect so far, so we are on track for a normal growing season.
